During this phase we will be stepping it up another level with regards to your carb intake.
Your body will now be able to up regulate and utilise a higher amount, so here we aim to take full advantage of this.
The more carbs the body can tolerate the stronger your sessions will be, with quicker gains and a faster recovery rate. This will help onset the calorific deficit you will be in for required fat loss.
Enjoy these carbs whilst you can before you move onto the next phase.
Rules of Phase 3:
- Your veg intake from carbs must remain the same as the previous 2 phases (20-30g)
- Carbs can now be had at breakfast if desired.
- The majority of your carbs must come from a starchy source (see the carbs section)
- Sugar based carbs are allowed such as fruit etc but must be limited to 2 pieces a day.
